Värmland
The Värmland province, in the middle of Sweden, lies on the border of Norway and offers everything that makes Sweden so appealing: open plains in the south, forest hills in the north, lots of lakes, forest and rivers as well as numerous enjoyable spots. Värmland is also known as the little Sweden.
Dalarna
Lies north-east of Värmland. The Dalarna province has more wild nature in comparison with Värmland. The Siljanlake attracts lots of tourist without it ever being too busy. There are lots of pleasant spots and beautiful lookouts over the lake. The symbol of the province is the “Dalarna Horse”.

The trip largely follows a former rail line that has now been converted to an asphalted trail. This trip is well suited to families with young children or people with little cycling experience.
