During this tour you will be staying at the lovely “Villahotel Klarälven”. The family hotel is situated close to the center of Munkfors and near to the Klarälven river. From this hotel you will do a number of day tours and get to know the beautiful Swedish nature.

Munkfors is located in the hart of the Värmland province. Värmland is also known as the “Miniature Sweden”. The program includes among other things, a tour around “Lidsjön, or the “Ransäter/Olsäter” tour. Depending on the length of stay, there are also tours to Råda and along the Ransjön. All of the day trips will partly ride on the “klarälvsbanen”. This is a newly asphalted cycle path that is free of any auto traffic. This guarantees a safe ride while you leisurely enjoy what the Swedish nature has to offer. The other sections of the tours will go over both sealed and unsealed roads as we try to avoid the traffic or any significant altitude changes. Each day tour will be around 40km. There will be plenty of places where you can go swimming or have a picnic. At the hotel you will receive information on the sights and attractions of the area as well as local museums.

This package has a basic arrangement that entails 2 overnight stays in the hotel (breakfast included), 1x tour map, 1 day bike hire and technical assistance. You may choose to extend your stay.

Programm:
Day 1: You arrive in the afternoon at the hotel. In the evening you may choose to walk around the town or the hotel garden, or simply enjoy a drink at the hotel café.

Day 2: After breakfast you will receive your bike and the tour map for the day. After several last minute tips, you are on your way heading in the direction of Sunnemo, at your own pace. After passing this typical Swedish town you head in a northerly direction along the Lisjön. At the top of the lake you will find a perfect swimming spot with picnic tables and a jetty. After cycling on a bit of unsealed track you come across the newly asphalted cycle track, the “Klarälvsbanan”. 10km later, you turn and head back to Munkfors. In the evening you can eat at the hotel in front of the fireplace.

Day 3: This package tour will conclude after breakfast. We hope you enjoyed your stay.
