Swedish Cycling
Swedish Cycling is a young company and specialises in cycling holidays in Sweden. We offer complete cycling packages for individuals and groups. The majority of the holiday packages are based on 8 days tours however, we also provide shorter tours.
In our packages we try to take the organising aspects of the holiday out of your hands. In this way you can fully enjoy your tour through the beautiful nature of Sweden without worries. On this page you can find out more information about the holiday packages.
Cycling in Sweden
Cycling in Sweden is different to riding in, by example, The Netherlands as the roads are not as flat. Don’t worry though, there aren’t huge hills either. The longest climbs are not longer than a few hundred meters with only a modest incline. There are few cycling paths outside of the towns and villages however, the roads are quiet and drivers are constantly aware of cyclists. When designing the cycling tours we have strived to avoid heavy traffic or commonly used roads as much as possible. Unfortunately this can not always be avoided. The road conditions change. The small paths are not often asphalted however you can still ride reasonably well. We do recommend that you watch out when going downhill as your wheels might slip if you suddenly need to break hard.

When you are booking a tour with Swedish Cycling, we arrange the accommodation for you. We have chosen B&B hotels, hostels, and cabins of good quality. Breakfast is always included. Some accommodation facilities are simple (but nice), others are more luxurious. Not every facility provides a private bathroom, however the shared bathrooms are clean. Bed linen is always included.
Luggage transport
Luggage transport is included in every package tour. Your belongings are automatically brought to the next address stop. This means you can enjoying the beauty of Sweden without extra baggage. You may bring lunch, camera’s or other necessities with you. Your luggage will be ready for you when you arrive (mostly from 3pm). Max. 15kg baggage per person. Can it be easier?
Luggage transport is included with the price.
Itineraries
We provide a clear description of every stage of the tour in English. This is an easy way to find your way to the next accommodation. Handy tips are also mentioned such as recognised swimming spots, interesting scenery, touristic sites and museums.
